Rufus is Ian’s slightly older brother (so still over 600 years old). He’s been through hell and back in his long life, but he’s tight-lipped about his past.

He’s rude, sarcastic, and blasé. And though he may try to hide it, he’s also loyal, caring, and has a good heart… even if it’s hard to see sometimes.

He returns to Clan MacBeaghne under questionable circumstances in Becoming Banshee (Book 1).

He and Kadi pick at each other throughout the series. I have fun writing their little spats. Rufus knows how to get under her skin, and she’s learning how to return the favor. She’s also determined to get him to open up to her. He’s determined to keep his secrets. Who will win out? 🤔
