UNCLE BRYCE.jpg

introducing… Uncle Bryce! Dream casting choice: Robert Downey, Jr. (pictured)

Brycson ó Cuinn, a.k.a. Bryce Quinn or Uncle Bryce, is one of my favorite characters from my Fire Banshee series. He’s just so damn quirky and lovable.

Bryce raised Kadi, and at an early age, taught her how to fight. He gifted Kadi her first set of fighting knives at the age of five. Between hiding her from the Elders and the possibility of her unique bloodline being detected by other Fey, he wanted her to be able to fight if she ever needed to.

Being mostly fairy, he’s highly proficient with magic, and spinning spells to protect Kadi is his number one priority.

He’s a caring father figure for Kadi, even if may be a tad absentminded and off in his own world a lot of the time.

His true age is unknown, but he’s close to (if not over) 1,000 years old, but like all member of the Fey (fairy or banshee) he looks no older than 25-35—Though, he does dress and act like an old man.

I hope you’re enjoying my “introducing…” series! There’s more to come, so keep watching this space!

Kimberly Quay

Kimberly Quay has loved romance & fantasy as far back as she can remember. Her childhood home was full of fantasy, romance, and thriller books and movies. Born and raised in Florida, she spent most of her youth outside searching for fairies and hoping to meet (and fall in love with) a vampire.

Author of (spicy) contemporary romance, (steamy) paranormal shifter romance, and (thrilling) urban fantasy, she’s a sucker for a good rom-com and she’s fascinated by old graveyards. When she’s not working on her next novel, she’s reading or kicking her husband’s butt in darts.

Kimberly still loves reading. Especially Nora Roberts and Kim Harrison.
